Our Mission
The mission of the Greenville County Foster Parents Association is to support
foster parents in achieving safety, permanence and well-being for the children
and youth in their care.
Our Goals
- Strive to enhance the lives of the children who are in foster care and the give
these children a safe, stable, and loving environment in which to mend and heal
both physically and emotionally.
- To promote cooperation, communication and better understanding among foster parents,
foster parents associations, all child caring agencies and the community.
- To cooperate and take necessary actions to improving foster care services.
- To encourage recruitment and retention of foster parents and others working in
the field of foster care.
- To inform the membership and general public of current information pertaining
to the well being of all children and in particular, children needing foster care.
